National Forest in danger in Georgia

While in Georgia recently, I learned that a huge timber sale is planned in one of our National Forests. Some of the areas may be old growth. A survey to determine the age of the forest was never done. Big old oaks there should stay standing. Please see this link from Georgia ForestWatch to read more about it. Send in comments by June 6th.
